Big Ladyfish came in hungry with numbers of them put on the deck. Then Danny got hit by the first King Mackerel for over three weeks. A short fight later it was on the gaff and the deck. About thirty minutes later, Brandon M. got hit and put the second King on the deck. A short time later, Dewayne B., visiting from Phoenix City, hooked his first King. With some coaching from fellow anglers, he brought his fish to the gaff. All three fish were caught with Cigar minnows between 2:00 and 4:30. They ranged from 9-13 pounds. George hooked another one right at sunset, but the hook pulled.
